A prominent private equity hedge fund, requires a senior accountant highly skilled in Excel for at least seven months to help reconcile and format historical journal entries and financial statement data for migration to an Investran accounting system. A significant amount of overtime pay is probable. Responsibilities: Numerous balance sheet, income statement, and general ledger account reconciliations for private equity funds in Excel to prepare the migration of up to six years of historical quarterly data for 20 entities to an Investran accounting system. Conversion of spreadsheet j/e's in inconsistent formats into a standardized ledger format. Job Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three to five years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related finance discipline with a professional designation or progress made towards a CFA and/or CAIA, and at least five (5) years of relevant investment experience.
• Significant leadership and relevant experience including a background in alternative investments.
